Makar Sankranti bathing festival wrote a new story in the field of Sanatan Dharma. The centuries-old symbol of slavery, the word Shahi, was transformed into Amrit Snan. Saints of Akharas took Amrit Snan for the first time. The word Shahi was used during the Mughal period.
