Hypersensitivity: Often we see that some people are too sensitive. Many times the behavior of such a person also troubles other people. Is being too sensitive a disease? Dr. Rajiv Mehta, senior psychiatrist of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, gave complete information on this.

Every person has his own human quality. This quality is determined by the kind of environment in which he was brought up. What has been his family environment? What kind of people have been around him? What has been his social environment? What kind of people have he been interacting with? Many other such factors play an important role in determining a person’s human quality. One of these human qualities is called ‘hypersensitivity’ in the language of psychology. You must have heard many people saying that so and so person is very sensitive, so and so person is like this or like that.

Dr. Rajeev Mehta: told that generally being highly educated can also make a person’s behavior sensitive many times, because such a person has the ability to look at any subject from different aspects. But this does not mean that higher education is useless, but yes, it cannot be denied that a highly educated person can be sensitive.
