This incident started when four friends from a nearby college—Ajay, Seema, Rakesh and Kavita—decided to solve the mystery of this mansion. All four of them were science students and did not believe in things like ghosts. They decided to go to the mansion one night and see what was there. Ajay said, “If there was really something strange there, the police or the government would have done something by now. These are all rumors of the villagers.”

The four friends started walking towards the mansion at night. The villagers were trying to stop them, but no one listened to them. As soon as they reached inside the mansion, there was silence all around. There were cobwebs on the walls of the mansion and a thick layer of dust on the floor. Suddenly the door of the mansion closed with a bang, which frightened everyone. Rakesh took out the torch and the four started looking around. There was an old chandelier hanging in the main hall of the mansion, which suddenly started shaking without any wind. Seema said, “All this is happening only because of the old building, we should not be afraid.”

As the night deepened, strange events started happening in the mansion. Sometimes it seemed as if someone was keeping an eye on them. In one room they saw that there was an old mirror on the wall. Ajay jokingly said, “Let’s see if we can see a ghost in this mirror.” But as soon as Ajay looked in the mirror, he saw another shadow behind his own shadow. He stepped back in fear.

Ajay mustered up the courage to ask, “Who are you and why are you not letting us go?” The spirit replied, “I am Kunwar Singh. I was deceived in this mansion. I was bricked alive into the walls. My soul has not found peace even today, and whoever comes here, I make him a part of my suffering.”

The four friends now knew that staying here was not without danger. Together they tried to break the door, but every time some unseen force pushed them back. Then Rakesh remembered that an old man in the village had said that if you get stuck in the mansion, then ring the old bell, which is from the time of Kunwar Singh.

Kavita immediately started looking for the bell and finally found it lying covered in dust in a corner. As soon as they rang the bell, a strong wind started blowing in the mansion, and the spirit of Kunwar Singh disappeared with a painful scream.
