  • Bamboo shoots – 2
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Tomato – 1 finely chopped
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves
  • Green chillies- 3
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp ( how to make coriander powder )
  • Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Take a pan, add oil in it and heat it.
  • Now add cumin seeds, onion, tomato, garlic and green chillies in oil and cook them well.
  • Now add salt, turmeric and coriander powder to the pan and let the spices cook well on low flame for 10 minutes.
  • While the spices are cooking, put the bamboo shoots to boil in water.
  • When the masala is cooked, grate the boiled bamboo shoots and put them in the pan.

  • When you feel that the chutney has thickened, add one cup of water to it and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • When the chutney is cooked, serve it to everyone and eat it yourself too.
